Golden Oak's Fall Evenings Out Now Come With Deadlines

October 8, 2026

Four Seasons Resort Orlando borders Florian Park, the newest enclave inside Golden Oak. Together with Disney Springs, the resort accounts for many of the restaurants and bars closest to the community. In the past year, very little of what changed in those two places was a new dining room. Most of the changes were renamed venues, menus that run for a set season, ticketed pop-ups, and order windows that open and close on fixed dates.

So the most useful thing to know this fall is the calendar. Several of the items below end within weeks of today, October 4, and one of the biggest holiday programs nearby has not been announced yet.

The resort's restaurants changed what they're called, not where they are

The poolside restaurant once called PB&G now goes by The Lakehouse. Four Seasons announced the change on October 29, 2025, along with a coastal-Florida menu under chef Jonathan Grossman. New dishes include Citrus Lobster Salad, Key Lime Scallop Ceviche, Hamachi Tartar and Crispy Conch Fritters. It is the same lakeside spot with a new name and a new menu.

Capa Steakhouse changed in a different way. In the 2026 Michelin Guide Florida, released May 28, 2026, Capa lost its star and moved to the guide's "Recommended" list. In Orlando, five restaurants kept one star that year: Camille, Kadence, Ômo by Jônt, Soseki and Victoria & Albert's. The resort now describes Capa and Ravello together as its Michelin-recommended dining. If a holiday dinner invitation or a guest's guidebook still calls Capa "starred," it is working from the 2025 guide.

These two changes set the pattern for the rest of the year. The rooms are where they were, and what changed is the name, the menu, or the label on the door.

Disney Springs lost a dining room and gained quick service and games

Disney Springs had more turnover, and the changes moved in a clear direction.

The biggest loss was Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill. The 250-seat Town Center restaurant served its last guests on September 13, 2026, and no replacement had been announced. WDWNT confirmed the next day that it had closed.

The additions are different kinds of places:

  • Six Ravens, the savory spin-off of Gideon's Bakehouse, soft-opened on Monday, August 3, 2026. Disney lists it as quick service, and its calendar shows hours of 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on October 4. All six Coffyn hand-pie sandwiches cost $10.96 each, smashed-potato sides cost $8.66, and local beers cost $9.66.
  • Level99 was open on the West Side by June 2026. Disney describes more than 60 life-sized games, 63 challenge rooms and player-versus-player duels.
  • Waterview Park reopened on August 18 with a new shade canopy, and live entertainment resumed at 6 p.m. that night.

Overall, Disney Springs has one fewer large sit-down room this fall, and the space it added is in counter service, games and outdoor seating. For a table-service dinner, a reservation at one of the remaining restaurants now carries more weight. Seasonal menus at those restaurants give the best reason to go back on a particular date.

The calendar does more of the deciding now

This is where the year's changes add up. Between the resort and Disney Springs, much of what's on offer through January runs on fixed dates. Here they are in order:

Dates What Where Details
Sept. 17 to Oct. 31, Thu–Sat Epilogue: The Hidden Chapter Four Seasons $85 per person, two cocktails, advance tickets only
Sept. 22 to Dec. 31 Vieiras con Calabaza y Naranjas Jaleo, Disney Springs Seasonal scallop dish
Oct. 9 to Nov. 20 Thanksgiving-to-go ordering Four Seasons $440 for up to five, $650 for up to eight
Through Nov. 9 Halloween menu Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar Dark Forest Dip, Alien Invader Sliders
From Oct. 25 Holiday pie and pastry orders Four Seasons Ordering opens
Nov. 3 to 27 Thanksgiving sweet treats Lickety Split, Four Seasons Seasonal items
Nov. 13 to Jan. 6 Holiday season Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll, live music on select nights, no ticket required
Nov. 26 Thanksgiving buffets Ravello and Plancha, Four Seasons See pricing below

Epilogue's pop-up has the strictest terms. The adults-only speakeasy is dressed as an old Florida library that has been closed for decades, with candlelit antique books, moss and velvet. Seatings start at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, walk-ins are not accepted, and the last night is Saturday, October 31. Mixologist Jaclyn Keogh's seasonal menu includes the Ulele, made with Hendrick's Oasium Gin, spirulina and Ambrose mead. It also includes the Painted Lady, named for the May-Stringer House in Brooksville. That leaves roughly a dozen possible nights from today.

Thanksgiving at the resort has more options. On November 26, "Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & His Pals" at Ravello runs 7 to 11 a.m. for $64 per adult and $44 per child. Ravello's buffet runs 1 to 8 p.m. for $170 per adult. Plancha's buffet runs from noon to 7 p.m. for $150 per adult, and children's pricing is $58 at either buffet. For Golden Oak households hosting at home, the to-go meal matters most. Orders open October 9, five days from now, and close November 20.

There are also gaps between seasons. Jock Lindsey's Halloween menu ends November 9, and Disney Springs' holiday season starts November 13, so there are a few days between the two. Jaleo's scallop dish stays on through New Year's Eve.

Where the calendar is still blank

Christmas and New Year's are the one big part of the season without published details. As of October 4, the Four Seasons festive page promotes Christmas Day and New Year's Eve dining at Ravello and Capa in general terms. It still says "2026 Events and Experiences To Be Confirmed."

Last year's holiday release still circulates. It is dated November 7, 2025, lists that year's prices, and still describes Capa as Michelin-starred. Both details are out of date for 2026. If the timing holds, the 2026 program could appear in early November. Until it does, any Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve plan at the resort is an estimate.

What stays put

Summerhouse doesn't run on seasons. Golden Oak's Club page lists Bolton's and Markham's restaurants, Tyler's Coffee Bar, a zero-entry pool, a 24-hour fitness center and the Family Room. Homeowners are required to hold membership. The same page says membership may be offered to third parties at the operator's discretion, and that benefits may change or carry extra fees. It is the one venue on this list that doesn't depend on a seasonal schedule, but its terms can still change.

The drive is on a timeline too. The I-4 and Apopka-Vineland Road interchange project at SR 535 is expected to finish in 2027. Planned work includes a new loop ramp from northbound SR 535 to westbound I-4, a lengthened westbound exit ramp and a realigned westbound entrance ramp, and an extension of the westbound I-4 express lanes. Lane patterns can shift during construction, so check current DOT notices before a holiday dinner reservation. Farther out, Orlando Business Journal has reported a proposed Mattel indoor water park at 15845 State Road 535. So far it is only a proposal, with no opening date.
